On Friday 19th August we present The Rio Summer Ball. Featuring a spectacular show by a large cast of renowned professional Brazilian musicians and dancers, plus Brazilian dance bands and dancing for all until 1.00am, this colourful and exciting event is not to be missed

The performance will feature not just samba but a varied programme of quality authentic Brazilian dance including Gaffiera, Forro, Capoeira and Lambada.

Brasil : Eu Sou O Samba

On Saturday 20th August at 8pm we present our full 2 act theatrical show: Brasil: Eu Sou O Samba.

An Irresistible, high energy journey through the infectious rhythms of Brazil

Enjoy a spectacular full 2 act show of classy but fun, high quality, authentic Brazilian music and dance.

Featuring 20 accomplished Brazilian musicians, singers and dancers, this show captures the true energy, colour and exhuburence of Brazil.

It will star the renowned Brazilian vocalists Osmir Xavier and Jandira Silva who have performed to aclaim all over the world. They will perform a diverse selection of the very best of Brazilian music accompanied by a large band of very talented Brazilian musicians performing cavaquinho, saxophone, flute, pandeiro, guitar and percussion.

The show also features a large company of professional Brazilian dancers, with exquisite costumes and captivating performances of authentic Samba, Forro, Lambada, Capoeira, Axe, Gafieira., Frevo, Salsa and much more.

Jandira Silva and Band : Latin Jazz and Bossa Nova for a Summer Afternoon

On Saturday 20th August at 2pm we present an afternoon of cool Latin Jazz and Bossa Nova with the accomplished singer Jandira Silva.

Born in Rio de Janiero, Jandira Silva is a highly talented and accomplished vocalist well known for her powerful voice.

Jandira has performed at the legendary 606 Jazz Club, The Jazz Cafe and the National Theatre.

She brings to this performance, a rich mix of smooth Latin Jazz and Bossa Nova perfect for a Summer afternoon.

Jandira will be accompanied by a quartet of top class Brazilian musicians

Running time 2 x 45 minute sets with 20 minute interval
